A position is open in our math department for a full-time upper school teacher. Applicants should have a degree in math and be able to teach a variety of grade levels, including advanced math courses. Currently, this position includes four sections of Pre-Calculus and one other section of upper school math. Our expectation is that our math classes are dynamic learning spaces that challenge our students to think, problem solve, and work collaboratively, and that students feel comfortable asking questions and seeking out the teacher for help. Full-time teachers also mentor a small group of student advisees, and participate as needed in campus activities. Please send a resume, references, and cover letter to Cheryl McMillan, Upper School Head: firstname.lastname@example.org. Sandia Preparatory School is an equal opportunity employer.
