River Oaks Baptist School has an opening for a middle school math teacher. This teacher will initially teach fifth grade math, though teaching assignments may change from time to time. Opportunities for athletic coaching are also possible.
Successful ROBS teachers are committed to their students’ and their own intellectual, personal, and spiritual growth. Working in a Christian environment with an ambitious academic program, teachers model and nurture the skills and habits of mind required to fulfill our mission of preparing students to meet life’s challenges and lead tomorrow’s world through a superior educational program undergirded by faith in Jesus Christ and Christian principles.
To meet this lofty goal, the strongest candidates will be Christian teachers who have experience integrating technology intentionally; employing current pedagogies, including project-based learning and design thinking; and collaborating with colleagues within a grade level and department. It is an opportunity to join a community that will change your professional life.
