The High School High Scholar (HS)2 program at Colorado Rocky Mountain School is currently hiring mathematics teachers for the following positions for summer 2018:
Calculus AB – two sections
Calculus BC – one section
The 2018 (HS)2 program runs June 23 to July 28, with faculty arriving on campus Wednesday, June 20 and departing between July 28 -30.
Each section of mathematics will be taught for two hours per day, M-F for a total of 10 hours per week if teaching one section (50 hours over the course of the summer). Applicants are encouraged to consider teaching two sections if possible.
Responsibilities also include tutoring students during study hall three evenings per week from 7:00-9:00pm, and chaperoning one on-campus social event and one off-campus trip during the session. Teachers do not have dormintory responsibilities.
Established in 2007, High School High Scholar (HS)2 is a rigorous STEM-based summer enrichment program at Colorado Rocky Mountain School that transforms the lives of promising high school students from underserved communities by inspiring them to reach their full potential, preparing them for college and empowering them for success in the world.

Applicants must have at least two years of experience teaching Calculus AB/BC. Strong candidates have significant teaching experience, a mastery of mathematics, and a love of working with high school students, specifically, providing support for minority students who will be the first in their families to graduate from college.
Additional Salary Information: $2,500 per class section plus room and board
