University Clinical Educator - Math Education Specific

This faculty position provides guided supervision to Professional Interns (Math Content-Specific) for 16 weeks. For those interns completing Professional Internship #1, there is a requirement of a minimum of 3 visits to the placement site(s) (located within a 45-mile radius of the Athens campus). For all other Professional Interns, there is a requirement of a minimum of 5 visits to the placement site(s). This faculty position will provide a syllabus for the professional interns, which includes topics to be covered during four seminars that take place after the regular P-12 school day.
Masters degree; Grades 7-12 math teaching experience within the past 7 years required.
