The ideal candidates will be team players who have strong communication skills. The school has openings for the following teaching positions in the 2018-2019 school year:
Social Studies Teacher - Qualified candidates will possess a bachelor’s degree in Social Studies; a master’s degree is preferred. A Virginia teaching license and experience are also preferred. The position will involve teaching 10th grade,Modern European history. Background in economics, a plus.
Math Teacher – Qualified candidates will possess a bachelor’s degree in mathematics; a master’s degree is preferred. A Virginia teaching license is also preferred. The position will teach Algebra 2, Pre-calculus, and possibly Trigonometry.
English Teacher – Qualified candidates will possess a bachelor’s degree in English; a master’s degree is preferred. A Virginia teaching license and experience are also preferred. The position will involve teaching literature and writing for students at the 10th grade level. Experience teaching yearbook is a plus.
