The Education Department at Curry College invites applications for part-time support staff to teach MTEL Math Preparation beginning Fall 2018 at our Plymouth satellite location. This 7-week course will take place on the Plymouth campus and is offered in a hybrid format with six in-person sessions and one session replaced by online work. Blackboard is the course management system. The course runs from Mid-October to Early December on Monday evenings from 5:30 pm - 8:30 pm. The review of applications will begin July 10, 2018 and continue until filled.
Must have a Master of Math Education degree and have taken the MTEL General Curriculum Math Subtest and/or the MTEL Elementary Math Test.
Qualified candidates should have familiarity with test taking strategies.
Have adult teaching/training experience.
Familiarity with BlackBoard and hybrid instruction is highly desirable.
Employment in this position is contingent upon the successful completion of all required pre-employment background checks.
