Adelphi University invites applications for two tenure-track assistant professorships in Mathematics and Computer Science with a mathematics specialty to begin Fall, 2019. The department offers majors in Mathematics and in Information Systems. The usual teaching load is 18 credits per academic year. Doctoral degree in Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science or a closely related field is required within one year of appointment.
Preference will be given to candidates with teaching or research experience in Applied Mathematics, Statistics, or Data Analytics, or willingness to expand teaching interest to include these subject areas.
