The Department of Mathematics and Statistics at St. Ambrose University invites applications for a tenure track assistant professor position starting Fall 2019. Preference will be given to candidates with specializations in statistics and data science. St. Ambrose values a strong commitment to successful scholarly engagement as well as a dedication to teaching excellence in a liberal arts environment. The regular teaching load is four courses per semester and may include teaching in multiple delivery formats. The successful candidate will primarily teach courses in probability and statistics, linear models, and introductory engineering mathematics. Qualified applicants will possess a Ph.D. in Mathematics or related discipline; consideration will be given to a well-qualified ABD.
