St. Francis School is a co-ed, non-denominational Independent School founded in the Progressive tradition. Our campuses are in two locations -- Goshen (Preschool-8th Grade) and Downtown (High School). We are searching for a dynamic Middle School Math Teacher for the 2019-20 school year. The ideal candidate for this position will have a BS in a science or math-related field, as well as an MAT or an MA in a related field, a passion for working with Middle School students, a minimum of five years' experience as a math instructor, an understanding of Independent Schools, and an awareness of differentiated instruction. Strong interpersonal skills, flexibility, the ability and desire to work collaboratively, and dedication to continuously developing and practicing cultural competence in one’s teaching are also essential. Additional responsibilities may include homeroom/advisor duties and academic team coaching; the ability/willingness to coach athletic teams is a plus.
