The upper school math teacher will teach several courses ranging from algebra to calculus. They will form part of a collaborative, talented math department eager to incorporate best practices from around the world (our primary curriculum is College Prep Math – CPM – which uses a collaborative, inquiry, team-based approach to learning).
Upper School Math (likely to include the following)
Participate in all upper school events and activities as a member of the upper school faculty
Bachelors Degree required. Masters Degree preferred. Must have at least two years experience teaching upper school math. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Highly proactive and eager to have an impact on evolving math program.
The position will begin August 2019 for the 2019-20 school year. Ideally the candidate will be available to attend one week of training in Utah for College Preparatory Math (CPM), the middle and upper school math curriculum.
