The Darrow School seeks a Math Teacher who will demonstrate enthusiasm and creativity in teaching all levels of high-school math. Math learning at Darrow is modeled on the Exeter math curriculum, emphasizing student-centered problem solving and the teacher’s primary role as a coach. The successful candidate should be familiar with the Exeter approach, or be willing to learn it, and adhere to a teaching philosophy and practice that are harmonious with it. The Math Teacher will teach four to fives courses, and collaborate with colleagues in preparing materials and designing curricula. The candidate should have a degree in Mathematics or another closely related field of study, as well as expertise in teaching multiple levels of high school math.
