Tallulah Falls School is accepting applications for a middle school math teacher for the 2019–2020 academic year. This teacher would join a group of educators that believe that culture is everything. TFS faculty and staff play an integral role in meeting the educational and emotional needs of our students in and out of the classroom. RESPONSIBILITIES
Communicate and make effective connections with middle school students
Seek creative ways and methodologies to make math applicable and enjoyable to a middle school student’s mind
Commitment to improving critical thinking and reasoning skills
Make use of available technology
Collaborate with grade and department level faculty to develop Professional Learning Communities
Promote student growth by being able to identify individual student’s areas of strengths and weaknesses
Coaching/Assistant Coach duties required
Candidate will possess a Georgia teaching certificate or state equivalent in the specific field of study
Classroom teaching experience at the middle school level
Hold a Bachelor’s degree in middle grades education
