Bachelor's Degree in Math or Science discipline from an accredited institution.
Experience teaching high school level math and science.
Experience teaching the Mathematical Practices in a collaborative classroom.
Experience teaching with the learning management system, Canvas, and WAMAP (Washington Mathematics Assessment and Placement).
Experience teaching math in applied contexts.
Experience in guiding students through the scientific method in project-based learning.
Familiarity with current research in the discipline.
Ability to work effectively and professionally with colleagues and members of the campus community.
Excellent classroom teaching and communication skills.
Demonstrated commitment to student learning.
Ability and enthusiasm to use teaching methods that engage students and encourage them to be motivated self-learners.
