A postdoctoral research associate position is available in the Gavrilets lab (http://www.tiem.utk.edu/~gavrila/) in the Department of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology at the University of Tennessee. This position is part of DOD funded research on Integrating structural theories of revolution with evolutionary models to predict societal resilience and (in)stability. The lab is affiliated with the Departments of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology, Mathematics, NIMBioS, and DySoC and the candidate will be welcome to participate in any/all of these communities.
The postdoctoral associate will be expected to contribute to developing and analyzing mathematical models of human behavior, cultural evolution, and social processes and to testing modeling predictions with empirical data.
