Tutors are an integral part of the success of students in the Red Hawk Mathematics Learning Center (RHMLC) at Montclair State University. Â The RHMLC is a large classroom/computer lab where several math classes are run concurrently. Â
Tutors assist students in classes ranging from Algebra through Statistics.
QUALIFICATIONS:Â Â Â
All applicants to the tutor position should have a strong mathematics background through Pre-Calculus and Statistics and at least a 3.0 GPA (B average) in college math classes.
Â Tutorâ™s should be friendly and courteous to all students, willing to assist students with questions, have strong communication skills and ability to follow directions of instructors and graduate assistants working in the RHMLC.
