Kent Place School is seeking a mathematics teacher for a long-term maternity leave position to begin in the late fall. Candidates should possess strong mathematical thinking skills to inspire middle school girls to problem solve and reason. The successful candidate should also have the ability to actively involve students in learning through applications, technology, and differentiated instruction. Responsibilities will also include advising a group of students, participating in community events, and working one-on-one or in small groups with students in our Math Lab. Requirements: minimum three years Mathematics teaching experience and experience teaching Middle School girls; Master’s degree in academic field or in Teaching preferred.
