Support the operation of the computer-based student-learning environment in the math lab.
Description of Duties and Tasks:
Duties include assisting students in the operation of the learning software, answering mathematical questions, tutoring students, proctoring exams, training tutors on the software, and providing general administrative support as needed.
Minimum Qualifications :
Associate’s degree or equivalent training and experience Passing grades of C or higher in college Calculus I, Calculus II and Differential Equations courses Experience in tutoring Availability for evening and weekend work as required
Bachelor’s degree or higher Grades of B or higher in Calculus I and Calculus II Passing grade in a college Statistics course Experience in tutoring mathematics at the college level Experience with a computer-based learning system, such as MyLab Math, MyLabs Plus, ALEKS, WebAssign, or others
