The Part Time Math Tutor provides student tutoring/assistance in math, study skills, and time management. This position also provides updates on the Center's activities. This position assists in the College Reading and Learning Association (CRLA) training of tutors once he or she is trained.
The Part Time Math Tutor position requires a bachelor's degree in mathematics, education, or related field. This position requires the ability to troubleshoot computer programs, extensive knowledge of multiple math courses, willingness to learn new programs for teaching math skills, and strong interpersonal skills. A criminal background check is also required.
