Pre-Algebra & Intermediate Algebra: Bachelor's degree in Mathematics OR closely related field with completion of Calculus I, II & III
Precalculus Algebra & Math Reasoning & Statistics: Master's degree in Mathematics OR Master's degree with a minimum of 18 graduate hours in the discipline OR Master of Education degree with 18 graduate credit hours in the discipline.
Prior teaching experience at the college level and experience with computer mediated instruction preferred. The successful candidate will possess a working knowledge of computers as a medium to manage and improve instruction. Demonstrate evidence of excellent oral and written communication skills. Demonstrate student centeredness. Be able to interact with a broad range of people with diverse backgrounds both on and off campus, in a positive manner. Demonstrate a commitment to the philosophy and mission of the community college.
