We seek an experienced educator with a background in teaching Pre-Algebra and Algebra and a commitment to ensuring that middle school students work toward mastery of the content and skills so critical to success in their future high school math and science courses. Ideal candidates will hold a Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in mathematics or a related field (a Master’s degree is preferred) and at least 3-5 years of teaching experience. They should also possess a strong understanding of the developmental needs of early adolescents, experience with curriculum design and student-centered teaching and learning practices, and demonstrated ability to work with a diversity of student backgrounds and learning styles.
