BB&N is potentially seeking an Upper School math teacher to fill a leave during fall 2020. Responsibilities include teaching four sections including AP Statistics. Other courses would include a combination of Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Geometry, Precalculus, Calculus, or Statistics. The teacher would collaborate closely with colleagues in the Mathematics Department and attend regular department and faculty meetings.
We seek an experienced teacher capable of teaching various levels of college preparatory mathematics. The ideal candidate will bring degree work in mathematics and/or computer science, high school teaching experience, and ample experience with differentiated instruction, collaborative learning, and the use of technology for mathematics instruction.
In addition, the candidate will demonstrate the following:
