RHCD seeks a full-time math teacher to begin in August 2020. This position requires the ability to teach math courses at all levels, and exhibit some experience in working with young adolescent students.

RHCD’s faculty also work as advisers, so candidates should demonstrate the ability to connect with students to develop healthy and supportive relationships. Ideal candidates for teaching at RHCD exhibit strong interpersonal and organizational skills, able to collaborate easily and naturally with others while also being self-directed. A knowledge of project-based learning, or other progressive or innovative pedagogical approaches, is preferred. Candidates who can contribute to RHCD’s extracurricular programs as a coach will receive special consideration.
Qualified candidates will have a bachelor’s degree in math or a comparable field, with a master’s degree preferred.
