MATH TEACHER GRADES 6-8 (Full Time, One-Year Long Term Substitute)
The Pike School is seeking a full-time, one-year, long-term substitute Math teacher for grades 6-8 to begin September 2020. Candidates must possess a passion for teaching and have experience teaching adolescents. Demonstrate the ability to work well in a collaborative environment and communicate effectively with students and parents.
Central to this position is a demonstrated track record of promoting and leading in multi-ethnic learning environments. We are seeking candidates with specific knowledge of culturally and linguistically responsive teaching and leadership practices with a dedication to working in a diverse community.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree required and a Master's with a concentration in mathematics preferred, knowledge of PLC practices and integration of technology, specifically iPad. Experience teaching with Math in Focus is preferred.
