Sheridan is seeking a math teacher with a passion for numbers and reasoning and a specific interest in working with middle school-aged students. Sheridan’s math program integrates Singapore Math in Focus and Responsive Classroom in small classes of about 12 students. The successful candidate will have a thorough background in math and progressive education, experience using a variety of assessment techniques, strong instructional and classroom-management skills and experience working closely with colleagues and parents. Sheridan is currently operating on a hybrid learning schedule with middle school students participating in distance learning in the mornings and in-person learning in the afternoons. More information about our current safety and logistical protocols is available on our website at www.sheridanschool.org/hybrid-logistics-information. (While we prefer a full-time teacher for this role, part-time is also an option.) We are eager to consider candidates from traditionally underrepresented groups. Interested candidates are encouraged to submit a letter of interest and resume to email@example.com.
