Qualified candidates will have 2-3 years’ experience teaching algebra at the middle school level and be knowledgeable about Code.org’s Computer Science Discoveries curriculum; embrace inquiry-based practices; possess strong interpersonal skills necessary to interact positively with students, parents and colleagues; be familiar with Google Classroom and comfortable adapting to streaming instruction from the classroom. All candidates are expected to possess a positive attitude towards COVID required practices; work independently; possess strong verbal, writing and organizational skills with attention to detail and follow through; embrace departmental and interdisciplinary collaboration.
