IB Math Teacher
The Awty International School
The Awty International School is seeking a full-time Secondary Math Teacher for its Upper School mathematics courses, grades 9-12, for the 2021-2022 school year and beyond. Courses to be taught will include IB Higher Level Analysis and Approaches and some combination of other IB math courses, Algebra 2, and Pre-Calculus. The school is looking for a teacher experienced in teaching IBHL math, or its equivalent, who interacts with students in a positive manner, engages them with interactive, hands-on projects, and presents a rigorous academic program in a way suited to young minds. The ideal candidate should demonstrate a commitment to teaching in a diverse, multicultural environment. Minimum qualifications for the position would be a B.A. degree in Mathematics and at least 2 years teaching mathematics to students in grades 9-12 or beyond. An ideal candidate would have experience teaching IBHL math and successful experience in teaching in an online environment. |
