Latin School of Chicago is seeking an experienced middle school MATH TEACHER to teach 8th grade math.
Responsibilities for the Eighth Grade Math Teacher include teaching Algebra 1 and Honors Algebra 2, as well as serving as a homeroom teacher.
We seek candidates with experience teaching math from a problem-solving approach. A degree in mathematics or mathematics education is required. We are looking for someone who cultivates an inclusive and supportive climate for all students, especially students from underrepresented backgrounds, and who fosters an appreciation for differences in our community.
